About Cape Girardeau, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Cape Girardeau is a lovely community about 100 miles from St. Louis and 200 miles from Memphis.  With just under 40,000 residents, the town is quaint, quiet and beautiful.  The area was settled around 1793, and since then has grown into a historically and culturally significant town with a great deal to offer.  The weather in the area is seasonal, which means that winters are cold and summers are hot. However, it is rarely bitterly cold nor cripplingly hot with lows in the 30s and 40s in the winter and highs in the 80s and 90s in the summer.

The history of the area is literally written all over the town.  There are numerous stunning murals all over town that commemorate historical events.  For example, Mississippi River Tales Mural covers about 18,000 square feet of the city's downtown floodwall with its 24 beautiful and distinctive panels. There are nearly 40 historic sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Cape Girardeau.  Examples are the Cape Girardeau Commercial Historic District, the Fort D Historic Site and the Confederate War Memorial.  It is an absolutely wonderful place to take a stroll and take in the sights and scenery.  Spend a warm spring or summer day exploring the history and culture of this fascinating part of the country.

Behind the stunningly decorated floodwall downtown, lies the Riverfront Park.  There, you can watch the riverboats dock as they float down the Mississippi River. The city maintains 23 parks covering 662.5 acres of land. The city also runs an aquatic center and municipal golf course.  These facilities are wonderful in any season. Cool off from the heat of summer at the aquatic center, golf as the autumn leaves fall or take in the glory and beauty of the Mississippi River as snow falls and ice forms. There is simply no time of year when it is NOT wonderful to be in Cape Girardieu.
