About Scott City, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Scott City is a quiet Midwestern town with about 4,500 residents.  It is a quiet peaceful community in which to raise a family and is known for friendly residents and actively involved community.  In Scott City the weather is seasonal.  You can expect hot summers and cold winters but the weather is generally moderate and, therefore, rarely miserably cold or stiflingly hot.  For these reasons, and many more, the people of Scott City are quite proud of their little community.

An example of that pride is the Scott City Historic Preservation Committee and Historical Society who work tirelessly to preserve and share the history of this area.  In 2014, The Scott City Historic Preservation Commission began renovations on the old Security Trust/Bank of Missouri building in order to make it into a local history museum. The members of the committee are always glad for visitors to come in and watch the progress.  This would be a wonderful way to spend a cold winter’s day.

If you are looking for something to do on a warm spring or summer day, the city maintains three lovely public parks: City Park, Shady Grove Park, and the Scott City Ball Park. There are many wonderful seasonal events held at the parks. The local organization, SCIPP, is devoted to bringing all residents – young and old – out into the community and they work hard to make resources available to everyone.  The non-profit organization has the singular goal of bringing the entire community, other community organizations, and city resources together so that they can be enjoyed, shared and benefitted from. There are senior lunches (held the second Monday of every month), children’s facilities, a city pool, a disc golf course and even an amphitheater. The town holds festivals, softball tournaments, concerts and more!  All of the events are family-friendly and community centered.
