About Fredericktown, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Fredericktown is a small, historic town in Southeastern Missouri.  With about 4,000 residents, the town is a wonderful place to raise a family.  Quiet, simple and slow paced, it is everything that one imagines when they think of the Midwest.  The weather is seasonal, which makes for a fun year of watching the weather change.  Kids can swim in June and sled in January! This type of living reminds us all of a simpler time and Midwesterners are known for their friendly hometown personalities and deep rooted love for their communities.  What this area may lack in “big city fun” it more than makes up for in small town pleasures.

No matter the season, there are many wonderful things to do in and around the town.  City Lake Park (just north of town) features a playground, picnic area, three pavilions, hiking trails and a lake, where fishermen can be seen spending a day. Jaycee Park and Wanda Priest Park have athletic fields, and playgrounds! Memorial Park is home to the town’s public pool and “Teen Town.” The Fredericktown City Pool is a great place to take a swim on a hot, summer day. If you are interested in the history of the area, then you should definitely check out the Fredericktown Courthouse Square Historic District where you will find a Second Renaissance Revival style building which is the Madison County Courthouse (built in 1900).

The town hosts many community events throughout the year.  The Azalea Festival is held in the warm weather of May each year and is themed differently each year.  However, there is always a parade, rides, food and fun like a 5k and a Diaper Derby. The Madison County Fair is held as the weather cools on the first weekend of October.  This annual event provides rides, music, games, booths and various animal exhibits, contests, competitions and good, clean fun.
